First to our name is to say: Melange means “Mix”, Oasis, like the word says and if you take a look at our open able window/door front you see our “Green Oasis”.
The “Mix” is mostly in our menu to see because we try to serve only “Healthy comfort food” with mostly organic fruit and vegetables in season. We do not only see ourselves as a Café/Restaurant, additionally we want to be a “platform” for greener living.
After Jiashan Market hosted in the year 2010 two Eco-Fairs, we are well connected with companies, organisations and individuals who hold up the green idea in Shanghai. We hope that you will enjoy our food and drinks, and we are looking forward, with your help, to make Shanghai a better place to live.
首先，从我们的名字来诠释，Melange 的意思是“混合”：一种文化和食物的交融汇合！Oasis 就是这 个字本身的意思“绿洲”，就仿若你透过我们的可打开式的门窗，你即会看到我们的一角“绿色的景 致”。
“混合”这个词在我们的菜单上随处可见，我们采用当季的果蔬，全力推出“健康合宜”的食物。
我们不仅仅是一家你所看到的咖啡馆/餐厅，我们还想成为一个推崇绿色生活的交流平台。
